Having enjoyed visual astronomy this year using a basic 8” Dob, I’ve decided to put a toe-in-the-waters of astrophotography … knowing too well, and having been suitably warned, that it may eventually lead to social isolation, divorce, bankruptcy, and insanity!
I already have an old Canon 550D, and have just acquired a used SkyWatcher ED80 from another IIS member.
I’m now looking for a small/medium GoTo equatorial mount in good working order to get me started.
I am now looking for either a HEQ5 pro or an NEQ6.
Something along the lines of these recent Archive adds would be ideal:
