I think Astrophotgraphy for me comes out of a wanting to share these amazing celestial vistas that I experience through the eyepiece. (probably like most A Pers). The path to the dark side started with the tracking upgrade to Zamar but will never be complete. You can only do so much with an Alt AZ mount eh!
