My wife hates socks with sandals with a passion....I occasionally just put them on just for the reaction
..one time in spring here in Canberra it was warm in the afternoon but cooled right down during the night so I started off with sandals in the arvo but took shoes and socks with me to put on later...problem is I forgot the shoes and only took the socks...had to take a photo just like yours to send her...she reckoned I did it on purpose because I am just a daggy astronomer
