Thanks all.
Oh yes to get 2 or more hours imaging under dark skies like those of "Brolga" out of Coonamble or in the Warrumbungles where air glow is the eventual limiting factor.
But it is a challenge to see what I can coax out of the washed out skies of Newcastle. Am tempted one day to buy a smaller 8 incf f astrograph that's small car portable.
