Actually, Kevin, I tell a lie... my very very first - and how could I forget - was of Halley's comet, with similar equipment. I remember picking up the prints from the Pharmacy. Halley's could be seen if you knew where to look. What struck me was the star colours. But it would be some years before time and opportunity cleared the way to take up astrophotography more seriously.
I guess many of us have similar stories - memory lane...
