ZenithStar 70 ED

My William Optic's ZenithStar 70 ED was purchased in 2008 for $599. I am the original owner.

This is a nice scope that provides very clear, wide fields with its Focal Length of 430mm. At higher powers, there is a noticeable amount of false colour. It is however, much less than my Tele Vue 70mm Ranger, which I decided to keep in preference. (My only Tele Vue scope.)

The Lens has a few, small disturbing marks on it, which appear to be mold. I decided against cleaning this, as it does not seem to be affecting performance.

The body is in good shape. The dew shield is retractable, which makes it easy to transport. The 1.25" Adapter is not original, but everything else is. I am also providing a Red Dot Finder, which I brought later for an additional $80.

The Instruction Manual mentions a case, but when I purchased it, no case was provided.

I do like this scope and it is only because it is light and easier to post that I have decided to part with it.
Oh, that I own about 20 scopes is also a factor.

Posted $275 to the Eastern States. $285 to WA.
Price discounted if picked up from Cairns.
