Hi Martin,

Those single frames are looking really good. If you're able to maintain round stars for 1min 20sec without guiding that's excellent, definitely must be on the money with your polar alignment.

I also own a stock 600D and have found it to be a good camera over the years, particularly in winter. In summer the noise can be a bit of an issue, but dithering really helps with that.
I used to perform iterative alignments, however, now I just use the SharpCap polar align feature with my finderscope and find it generally takes only 10mins or so. It used to take me 1hr as well when I was doing the iterative method.
