NGC 6523 and NGC 6618 ( 1st attemp )

Still waiting on my Omen laptop so I can learn stacking and processing ( suppose to have it next week )

Snapped some single frame images of the Lagoon and Swan nebulas between breaks in the clouds down at my holiday pad on the south coast

Bintel GSO 6” f6 reflector on a HEQ5 Pro Mount with a stock Canon 600D

Unguided

1 minute 20 sec exposures at ISO 3200

Tried ISO1600 to reduce some noise but not enough image detail to show nebulosity ( if I was guiding I could have possibly run 3 or 5 minute exposures to expose more detail )

Polar aligned sub arc minute using Synscan PA routine ( took me 8 iterations to get there 1hour later )

Lost a fair bit of detail and sharpness through emailing files and reducing small enough to post

Anyway best I could do.

Cheers
