[Tropo-Bob (Bob)]

I have not used this since selling my original 12" Dob many years ago.

This is a Novak 2" rack and pin focuser, but unfortunately I only have the connection for 1.25" EPs. It is about 25 to 30 years old and still works well. I recall that it cost me about $170.

Its height is close to 3.5 inches when fully racked in, and 5.5 inches when racked out. I did blacken the draw tube on the bottom outside edge.

I considered using it on a Skywatcher Dob, however the spacing was different and I would have needed to drill new holes.

Nevertheless, it may well suit someone who is working on a project or wishes to change to a genuine rack & pin fosuser.
