Just measured my c. 2006 C9.25 CF XLT with the following results using an old, uncalibrated tape measure.
Circumference = 83 cms.
Dia. = Circumference/Pi = 26.4197cms.

EDIT:
Although it is clear in the attached photo, the front secondary cell and rear mirror cell end-assemblies are a larger diameter again, compared to the main CF tube.
