Synta 150mm f8 Achromat Refractor with tube rings and V series dovetail

The scope also come with a wooden box for transporting.

Purchased this secondhand. There are some scratches on the white paint work, however no dents or dings on the tube.

The lens is in very good condition and throws up quite a good image. For deep sky viewing I have noticed very little (if any) chromatic aberration. From a lunar and planetary perspective, the moon does exhibit some “purple” but the planets are pretty sharp.

I will also throw in an Orion V-block filter (which has a very minor edge chip in it) which really does clean up lunar and planetary views


Due to the size and weight of the package I would prefer local pickup from metropolitan Adelaide (and I do welcome any inspection).
