need help in what to get
I want control my the observatory computer from in the house with the computer that's inside, getting to cold and uncomfortable out there, but being a computer idiot how can I do it? The distance will be under 10 meters so is a Ethernet cable good enough? And what software do I need to control the out side computer? I'm basically asking can it be done and how.
The other way I'm thinking of is to bring the outside computer in which controls the mount etc. I have four that I need Mount, camera, guider and mount over ride controller, (x-box controller) then use long USB cables, will they work over that distance with a powered hub? If so what is the best powered hub, as I've had mixed results with them
