Synta 150mm f8 Achromat Refractor with tube rings and V series dovetail

Purchased this secondhand. The paintwork is fairly ordinary with a number of scratches on the white paint work, however no dents or dings on the tube.

The lens is in very good condition and throws up quite a good image. For deep sky viewing I have noticed very little (if any) chromatic aberration. From a lunar and planetary perspective, the moon does exhibit some “purple” but the planets are pretty sharp. I will also throw in an Orion V-block filter (which has a very minor edge chip in it) which really does clean up the views

The scope also come with a wooden box for transporting.


Due to the size and weight of the package I would prefer local pickup from metropolitan Adelaide (and I do welcome any inspection).
