Classic Vixen VC-200L

Regretful sale, but I simply am not using it - being totally honest!

Sale includes:

ORIGINAL model Vixen VC-200L flat field cat with a really nice mirror (it's dusty - I won't clean it). It was collimated rather well by the prior owner, and it held that from QLD to the ACT in the hands of Aus Post, and that says a LOT. These are built at the factory flat-field, so no need to mess around with flatteners and spacing.

Dedicated Vixen VC-200L reducer, taking it from f/9 to f/6.4

Extra set of THINNED spider vanes - for the astrophographer. SIGNIFICANTLY thinned over originals - this set alone set me back $200 including the machining to thin them. (you can see them hanging on the wall behind in my Junque Room)

Custom made 12mm thick top bar and handle (note - the guidescope set up on it in the pictures is NOT included!)

Baader visual back - MUCH better than the Vixen original.

7x50 finder scope

Custom laser cut Bahtinov

Spares including an extra pinion with the original plastic knobs (it has the aluminium ones on it now too), visual adaptors, 2 Vixen blue bubble stickers for the spider end plate.

NOTE: there is a very insignificant crease in the side of the tube - doesn't even break the paint and is so small it's almost not worth mentioning.

I have owned 4 VC-200L's, and I think this is the best of the 4 I have owned - no sales pitch, just the truth. The views of Jupiter with it are mesmerising, especially with a 10mm EP!

Priced low to sell fast - don't ask why, it's none of ya business
