Really nice shots John! What's most interesting is that you've caught two white ovals in Jupiter's NNTB in the process of merging (upper right of your image).

Leigh Westerland also caught it in the act around the same night close to 12h UT (search on PVOL for their images). The two ovals closed in separation very rapidly over the previous couple of weeks, then collided the same day as two of the white ovals in the SSTB also collided, spotted by
Chris Go. Guess who imaged almost exactly in between these two times
