Hi Peter, good job; I assume that you were using your 85mm scope.
M17 really needs more aperture, or lots of time. Some years ago I had a go
at it with my 8" Newt. 12 minutes comprising 24x30secs. stacked in DSS,
no other processing. If I am hijacking, just say so and I'll remove it immediately.
