I haven't had much of a chance to use the Esprit so far. But from the little testing I have done, the focuser feels very solid and firm.
And thanks LewisM for the heads up. I had a similar issue with the focuser on the Megrez90. It took about 10 minutes to simply tighten a few bolts.
