Mars 19 May 2018
Hi all,
Here's another Mars shot from last week. Challenging morning with variable transparency (high level fog) and chilling light wind. Ended up packing up early due to corrector plate dewing up (despite the shield). 12 minute derotation, 40 minute elapsed recording time.
As always I'm finding white balance and hue adjustment quite difficult with ASI224MC. Hellas and Ausonia Australis (immediately to the east) show interesting colour contrast (with the latter being much redder). Few bright regions are also distinguishable within the SPC.
