You've got it all wrong Alex.
Seeing we are the Land Down Under, everything is already upside down, therefore if it's "upside down" it's really right side up.

Laptops don't care what orientation you use them at.
I'd personally make a small plywood tray come out of the wall or hook attachable/detachable to the wall. Easy as pi.
