Did I mention that the tripod was standing on quick sand and that I never do a PA ?
But more seriously, if that's possible at all with such a thread, the tripod was positioned just on grass (normally I have large pavers underneath tripod legs) and I did not fine-tune balance nor PA to the highest level but guiding was nicely consistent until the early morning.
Have learnt that dew is significantly heavier in the new location so I had to add an extra heater strap near the camera to stop condensation forming on the outside of the camera's cover glass.
One more funny thing (to me anyway) - at some point I looked up and thought to my self -
oh no, some high clouds are coming, wait a minute, these are not clouds - that's the Milky Way!. There you go, a city dweller experiencing dark skies...
