It’s a fascinating pair and I really like the detail and colour in the centre. As for the mirror flip-up - although my OMs and Nikon’s always had a mirror lock up or pre-fire, I saw other less fortunate photographers resort to holding a hat in front of the OTA for a few seconds. Back in the days of hand-guiding and hour long exposures this was not a problem, but if you are planning on leaving the thing running unattended I appreciate it’s not a helpful suggestion.
