Thanks guys for your help. I have my eye on a GM-8 currently, I likely wouldn't mount them together, but use ED80 for imaging on its own (or with a cheap guiding refractor), or Newt for visual.
Didn't think the newt was that heavy...... it is hard to judge weights accurately sometimes especially with bulky things......
