This is my high tech very expensive AP rig, [ best viewed at 50% screen]. Vixen Polarie accessory slides
into a cold shoe Araldited to the tracker, and used before mounting the camera, as the camera has a slight effect upon the compass. As my tripod is fairly lightweight, I allow an extra degree of altitude to allow for sag
caused by the weight of the camera. It is steadied by my 4kg tow bar
tongue and ball. This is the latest model of the Nano Tracker, and can be
externally powered. As an octogenarian I found setting up and taking down
my previous rig [pictured] a pain in the derriere.
