This is a crop of a larger part of a mosaic I'm working on, this part is a 9 panel mosaic of the dusty regions within the constellation Lupis. I've shot this in wide fields a couple of times but never gone and zoomed in on the region itself.
Images were calibrated in PixInsight. Then they were Median combined in MaximDL (I can just load all 45 images into its Stack module and a few minutes later I have 9 registered and stacked panels).
Back to PixInsight for processing (created an automated script so that they all had the same treatment) and then into AutoPano Giga for registration.
From my previous mosaics I've been constantly trying to find the best way to streamline my processing technique because it just takes so long to deal with processing endless panels!
Anyway, this is 5x300s (per 9 panels) with my 130mm F/5 and a D810. At some point I'll go and put a bit more time into processing but I am hoping to get more subs per panel so it'll have to wait until then.
