Bert,fwiw. The images in 'Hartungs' show the LMC has more blue in the cloud structure but Tarantula etc, is red/orange, whereas the SMC shows more whiteish in the main cloud,(end near 47Tuc), but is slightly more red/orange at the opposite end. These are taken thru the UK Schmit Telescope tho.
