Was the thread still open for entries?
If so, you should have entered even if it was a new month.
We allow entries right up until the thread gets locked by our wonderful PhotoMod.
When I was running it, I would sometimes run late in closing the thread by a few days but we always allow entries right up until we lock the Entries Thread.
