I'm a beginner at this too. To make it obvious, I acquired two separate images by tuning the etalon to see either disk detail or prominances. For prominances you will need to up the gain or frame time. I processed the prominances and disk detail separately (different acquisitions). Then I used the photoshop layers function and pasted the disk detail as a layer on top of the prominance image. There's sure to be a better way than this.
I steered clear of PS for ages but solar imaging has forced me to start to learn it; it comes with my copy of lightroom.
