Even if it is a bit faint, it's quite a good shot of a very interesting object, yes the wide field would be great with some more data, those lanes are indeed cool, keep this sort of thing coming

Thanks Mike, and I agree - decided recently to get well and truly off the well beaten track and hunt down some of the odd and unusual. Last RCW-58 image here on Ice I could find was 2 years ago.
Of course, trying to stay within the little Takka's limitations - this one was interesting - I could BARELY see it in the screen stretch after the 10 minute test shot, so it was more just blind imaging - I knew the star patterns, so knew it was close. 5hrs as you see with the 85 just shows it enough (though some buckets of H-a are going to help - alas not tonight it seems).
Got a list of the odd and road-less-travelled, so expect more in the coming months. There are a couple more RCW bubbles I want to do for a start.
