NGC 3628 going solo

One of the Leo trio members - couldn't fit all comfortably in my field of view So it's embarked on a solo career.

From the same dark and windy site as the NGC 5101 I put up yesterday.

41:6:6:6 LRGB 5 min exposures with ASI1600MM-C and RC8 on an EQ6.

Just below the centre of the galaxy is the quasar Wee 51 (yes, great identifier name!). At a redshift of 2.15 this is about 10.6 billion light years (light travel time) distant. Talk about depth of focus!

Higher res available on Astrobin here.

Comments welcome.
