Kinda happy still after almost 12 years. Sure, we fight (well, I sit and stew until she's finished, then give my bit back, by which time she's over it and just shakes her head and walks away - and 5 minutes later we are best friends again).
Not "fairy tale", just genuine friendship - which is needed MORE than love in a marriage. She's my best mate and confident.
Honestly nothing to dislike about my wife - opinionated (sounds familiar!), open, HARD working (not a lazy bone in her body!), forward looking, constantly developing, going places. Give and take.
Life is not a bed of roses, nor is it all doom and gloom.
