I've just checked the two failed Coronado ITF's I have in the "museum"
both have a circumferential black layer - I assume was the sealant layer....
BTW I'd love to collect any failed ITF (and any other solar filter failures) for the "rogues gallery" in my expanding collection. If you want to submit, just drop me a PM.
