Put a Moonlite on a GSO, SW etc by any means. On a classic old MT-160? Sacrilege!
It's why I had a heart attack when Logan considered cutting the rear rubber mirror cover plate last week... Take it out by all means, do NOT alter the original. There has been enough damage and alteration to original by the dubious seller in the first place, so it needs no further subjection to b@stardisation.
OK Logan, I'll buy you a 14" GSO to replace it...
