I tried something a little different in getting the data for this image.
Binned the KAF16803's 9 micron pixels 2x, i.e. 18 microns.
I thought I'd end up with Lego-block stars...but in practice the result was not too bad at all. ( a bit like guiding my FSQ106...duh...what guiding??
)
With an almost a half metre aperture and monster sized pixels, the signal boomed in! (and also needed a whole new set of darks/flats
)
As for more (RGB) data...I believe a monsoon is forecast for Sydney soon....
