For me the price was right and for me is a bit of fun. Nothing like a bit of a challenge and you can get a result. The software and chip make all the difference. I love my asi174 for solar imaging but this will do the planets and moon well if I can master it. Like golf you can play the green with a 2 iron or a putter

In the city deepsky imaging isn't the best, though those of Peter Ward ET Al skill and equipment level can flourish others who lack finess can play the back nine with a wedge

Also note he is out if stock of the ex3 but he does have gstarex4's I think
