I have a used, NOT WORKING Celestron Advanced GT EQ head and tripod (CG-5GT).
It's FREE to collect from Preston, Melbourne, but I need it gone by 11/3/18.

It was bought cheap from an alternative energy company and had been used for R&D, sitting outside for a year. There is no power supply, dec cable or polar scope. I was told it would NOT work even when connected to power. I have not tried to power it up.
Externally it is in poor condition, with surface rust and scratches and a dent in one leg. Despite all that, legs extend and lock, alt and az adjustments are working, RA and Dec move smoothly, clamp firmly. The hand controller is like new, obviously not used in the field. Under the covers the circuits and motors look clean. It has x2 counterweights and a mounting bracket.
Perfect if you need the counterweights, or a rough but very solid tripod or know how to diagnose and repair the electronics.
