No probs.
When i was digging a few years back, i got told the units that had dedicated "charge ports" in them needed the higher voltage supply to get enough headroom for the chargers. Some used 9V supplies and a few used 12V. It looks like the proliferation of devices that now need charging means there are more 12V hub units around now.
( Its like finding motherboards with true COM and LPT ports. Once you know what to look for, you can refine your searching )
