I followed the tutorial Gary linked to (
http://www.alexastro.com/Alex%20Home...ofbread101.pdf) since I only shoot OSC. I had to ignore some of it since I don't shoot bias or darks (use MaxIM AutoDark subtraction instead), so can't use the batch preprocess method and have to use ImageIntegration instead.
Anyway, I took the VERY small amount of recent data I have on M78, threw out 3 duds, and that left me about 50 minutes of data. Not as happy with the integration as CCDStack gives me, so my plan in future is to Mean combine and debayer in CCDStack, then move that FITS to PI to finish it using the techniques in the tutorial.
Still, I think it brought out a start of good colour and contrast detail from this very meagre data sample (I don't even pretend to believe it is a good image, good colour nor good data).
