Crystal Crux
I was looking for something in one of my old camera bags and I came across this crystal filter I had purchased in the days when I was using film with my Pentax Spotmatic f SLR. I had used it on astro shots before but never with a digital camera. So last night I chucked it on my 135mm Pentax lens along with a UV/IR cut filter and took 10 x 1min subs at 400 iso using the modded Canon 550d on the Nano Tracker.
An interesting result which some may find distasteful but nevertheless a different take on this iconic group of stars. Love it or hate it, here it is.
