Hi,
I own a 27mm Panoptic and it isn't a heavy eyepiece compared to some out there. It causes no balance issues in my 10" dob. In fact I have used it barlowed on many occasions in my 2" 1.6X Antares barlow, also combined with a 2" filter without balance issues.
