Yes light pollution is only getting worse with the urban sprawl to the northern parts of metro melb. Trying to steer my heavy home made 10" is hit and miss most of the time but I make the most of it's light catching ability. It's long focal length means I can get in close but also makes it difficult to track consistently.
I'm happy enough with it and think may revisit this later in the season as it climbs higher in the sky.
