What started out as a fanciful idea turned into an epic imaging run and I am still not sure I have all the data.
This image is of NGC1999 which is located just near M42 and is often overlooked as an imaging target. I
imaged this target a few years back with the wide field unit but was never really all that happy with the data and the field of view. This I think works better.
The image has just over 20 hours of data and most of that is the Ha data. It probably needs a bit more luminance and I will have to decide in the next few days if I want to add more to it. I note that Rolf did a significant amount more luminance and this brightened the image quite a lot compared to my attempt.

I hope you enjoy.
Edit:Now with 24 hours of data, mainly luminance.
