It's promising start for the scope, how's the collimation, that and fine focusing are most important, as I'm sure you're well aware. Look forward to seeing more of your efforts with the new ( modified ) rig.
The sky show this morning about 2;30am, with the Moon and Jupiter close as was Antares and Mars was quite a pretty sight.
