In my 12" dob I painted around the outside of my secondary mirror with chalk board paint. I think Ill try it out on that. I also have a ring of hard board back flocking material fashioned into a cylinder to darken the draw tube in the focuser. I also have flocking material in the baffles of my Mak. Ill replace those with this paint. See if its close. Ill put some up pictures later. It recommends 24 hours drying between coats. Might do 2 coats.
