Lunar eclipse success from Michelago

As already reported, my group got a pretty good view of most of totality from Michelago about 50km southeast of Canberra. Weather predictions ruled out our usual observing site near Yass and our homes in Canberra. Watching weather predictions from many sources - NOAA READY, cloud free night, skippysky, BOM satellites, we thought our best chance was a large patch of clear sky just south of Canberra that was predicted to pass over that area at eclipse time. We sat through a patch of cloud and then it cleared towards the end of the penumbral phase and we saw most of the partial and total phases from there on with only brief interruptions by cloud. Cloud floated by below the moon throughout the eclipse, the same cloud that was covering Canberra and Yass.
