How much will a 1cm chip on the edge of the lens affect a 90mm refractor? I was cleaning my Megrez 90 today, and mis-handled one of the lenses. Took a nice 1cm chip of the edge.
Was going to bin the whole thing (the focuser is pretty iffy as well) but it seems a shame to chuck it out.
On the bright side I now have an excuse to get that 130mm TS APO I have been looking at
