About a week ago at 4am when I get up for work the first thing I do in the morning is go outside for a look at the sky as the jug boils , as usual it was brilliant !! Jupiter and mars together were awesome , Carina was high and beautiful .

As I was looking south I spotted a bright satellite ( 2nd Mag. ) moving south to north thru Crux , I watched it pass alpha Crux and it just disappeared ,,,, bang ! gone WTF ! I looked at the area , calculated the speed and searched where it should be but no , it just winked out in mid flight as it moved in front of alpha Crux ,,, strange .

No you aint alone here .
