And in the end, got 45 usable minutes of subs before I started taking unintentional flora photos.

Tak TSA-102S with FS/TOA reducer, making it f/6.
Vixen SXP mount with lodestar guiding through a converted finder.
300 sec subs x 9 with an OSC CCD.
LP and UV/IR filters in the train
Hand focused (you can tell, can't ya!)
Taken in an area with a Bortle 9 sky

NO processing apart from mean stacking. I looked at stretching in CCDStack using DDP, but I got scared and ran away with my tail between my legs when the image started yelling at me like my wife.

And which moron forgot to turn temperature regulation on in CCDOps...yeah...more noise especial! At least it was only 8° here in Cannotberra last night.

Stretching the image further just releases the Kraken of Noise, but shows what detail there is to possibly capture, if Johnny Bortle would lower himself. I think there is a tiny bit of tilt with the Baader click-lock holding the camera - will go back to all-screwed next time.

Can you tell I don't take my imaging seriously?
