For sale is an SBIG ST-8300C in excellent condition including original case and accessories.
The camera is approx 6 years old. I purchased it about 2 years ago from Andy Campbell (Andy01) who was talented enough to win several AIPP State and National Professional Photography Awards with images generated by this camera (see attached).
Having just returned to the astro hobby after a 2 year break (work commitments) .... I have just upgraded to a larger APO scope and full-frame camera. So the SBIG now needs to go!
Full spectrum, single stage cooling - usually runs around -20C year round. USB 2.0 fast download, lightweight but solidly built, works with both Mac & PC. The 8300 chip is a proven performer with good dynamic range and a relatively quite cooling fan.
Comes with Baader 2" nosepiece, SBIG Pelican style hard case, all cables, CD's, Manuals and Power Supply.
