NGC 1760, aka the Angry Bee, in HaOiiiSiiRGB

A complex of emission nebulae and the second-largest star forming region in the LMC.

Captured at Yass 11 Sep - 21 Dec, 2017 (Martin Pugh's obsy)

Scope: Astro-Physics RH305 @ f/3.8 = 1119mm FL
Mount: Paramount ME II
Camera: SBIG STXL-16200M
Filters: Astrodon
Image scale: 1.106 arcsec/pixel
Exposures: 3x600s + 12x1200s R, 3x600s + 12x1200s G, 8x600s + 8x1200s B, 20x1800s Ha, 21x1800s Oiii, 18x1800s Sii (42.5 hours)
Processing: PixInsight 1.8.5

Placidus/Mike & Trish dubbed it the Angry Bee. In this colour palette with my trademark heavy saturation it looks positively apoplectic

Hope you like it, or at least that it provokes a reaction

Cheers,
Rick.
