Thanks Matt,
I did back off the focuser pinion before adjusting the tensioning screws on the focuser, but should have taken the visual back and 2" diagonal off before adjusting. (Excess weight)
So I'll retry with small increments without any extra weight! and add a small amount of grease to the visable linear rack and see how this goes.
